My Gallaudet Experience and Observations
Upon returning home from the trip in Washington, DC; Amy Cohen Efron shares her experiences, observations and thoughts about her trip at Gallaudet University. Amy gave a presentation at Vlogging/Blogging for Gallaudet’s Future past weekend (Saturday, February 3, 2007) on the “Whither Gallaudet” panel.

It was a moving presentation and I enjoyed it. Good job for a LIVE presentation in front of people instead of webcam this time, haha.

Interesting observation… Another one — have you noticed that the bloggers are mainly of older generation. Could it be that we got older and wiser, and more observant of the world around us, while the youngsters are more occupied only with these things right in front of them?

Hello Amy,
In fact, I am truly glad that I went vlog/blog day at Gallaudet. it was wonderful experience and learn alot of many new techie. Amy, make a good points about not seeing many current gallaudet students and where they are even the mininorty group too. I was puzzled myself but I certianly hope next time would be better and get more deafies in the great group of vlog/blog. By the way, I was thrilled to meet you that day. I always enjoyed watching your wonderful vlog/blog. I hope you remember me with my hotpinkwheelie smile !! it was great pleasure to meet you ! Keep up the great show ! your warmly,
